Provision of Essential Resources

Everyday items can make a world of difference. We provide families with new or donated essentials such as clothing, bedding, toiletries, school supplies, and household basics. All of our support comes directly from the generosity of the public, and families are referred to us anonymously by trusted professionals.

Our aim is simple: to respond quickly and with compassion, giving families the dignity of having what they need when times are tough.

Who Do We Support?

We’re here for children and families in Rotherham who need a little extra help.

All of the people we support are referred to us anonymously by trusted professionals such as teachers, social workers, and health visitors. This means we never know the names of families, we simply provide what’s needed.

The families we help are often facing difficult circumstances such as financial hardship, illness, fleeing domestic violence, or other challenges that make it hard to afford essentials or provide for their children at Christmas.

With the cost of living crisis continuing to bite, the demand for our support is only increasing.

In Rotherham, almost a third (31%) of children live in poverty. More than a quarter (26%) of children are from absolute low-income families, and almost 20% of households are fuel poor.

By stepping in with practical support, we can ease some of that pressure and bring comfort, joy, and hope.

Please Note: If you are a family in need of support, please be aware we work from professional referral only. Please contact your midwife, health visitor, social worker or any other professional working with you and ask them to make a referral on your behalf.
